Some people don’t want to wait to have their iPhone 3GS jailbroken until firmware 3.1; due to the iPhone Dev Team’s decision. Geohot, hacker and friend of the Dev Team, released his jailbreaking tool today which he calls purplera1n. Purplera1n is a full-blown jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS, including an installation of Cydia with it.
