As we all know a few months ago apple sent in a request to get the unauthorized modification of their devices “Jailbreaking” to be illegal. The truth is apple had and still has no case. They are saying that Jailbreaking 1) makes the device preform slower and has more errors. That can happen if you use untested software. But, as we all know the main reason why Apple dislikes Jailbreaking is because of CRACKED APPS. Lets step back for a second. Only about 7% of iProduct users Jailbreak, and only 50% of them use cracked apps. So that means apple is only loosing 3.5% of their App Store profit. Also about 2 months ago Apple released how much they make from their App Store which turned out not to be such a big number. So apple is not loosing that much money from Jailbreaking. Actually Apple is making money from Jailbreaking. Think about how many people bought the iPhone or their iPod Touch just for the jailbreak use. So anyway a few days ago apple published an article on the support pages that actually addressed Jailbreaking. The Article pretty much said jailbreaking slows down and douse a lot of other bad things to your device. I wont lie a few of the things apple mentioned are true, but the majority are not. I still recommend Jailbreaking while you still can legaly. If apple douse pass this law it will affect more then just the iPhone community. It will affect every device community that deals with unauthorized modifications. Most likely apple will not be able to get this law passed. Here is the Article http://iurlz.net/Modify

K4RN4G3 “finally” addresses your spelling.
Apple can get off our dick for not wanting to buy there apps.
They’re only loosing 3.5% of their sales IF everyone that uses cracked apps on a jailbroken iWhatever was to actually buy the real ones.
I’ve got a cracked TomTom on my iphone, but no way in hell would I pay the 100$ or whatever it costs. So they didn’t “lose” a sale to begin with. If anything the real GPS people down the road did.
